Member Comments on the Activity Weekend 2010!

Our first weekend and we're looking forward to the next. Great activities on Sat/Sun am, can't wait to come back for more. Please keep Sunday am activities for those who want them. Centre was great, food was good but too much based on white flour for us, would be good if it was a bit healthier, It's good to have met people, a chance to learn about others with KS and to have some contacts.   Jane

I had a most wonderful experience here, and now feel I'm quite a professional, one of the old boys. I will be coming again, to mainly see new people, and old. Yes, I do feel some other activities could be better portrayed. I did once mention mountain bike course, but maybe it would be too costly. I'm sure other members may not think so.  Giles

My first time at Duke's barn. I really enjoyed it and met some great people and made some nice friends. We definitely be back next year. I agree with Jen, it would be good on Sunday to have more centred based activities as I felt tired on Sunday. Anyway thanks for a great weekend.   Guy

Good to see old friends and to make new ones. Once again an excellent weekend. The staff as normal friendly and encouraging and plenty to keep Josh busy. Becky managed the zip line this year (twice)! Thanks to everyone.  Rob

This was our first year here. We weren't really sure what to expect but everyone has been so welcoming and lovely - it's done my brother the world of good to receive the support he has had this weekend. We are now both more aware of KS and we have made some great friends. We'll definitely be back next year and are really looking forward to it already! I would agree with Lorraine's comment that Sunday activities should be more at the centre. Anon!

In response to a couple of these comments, in 2011 we had more 'centre based' activities on the Sunday and it seemed to work well. Constructive criticism is always appreciated!  Alison
