Looking good!

There are lots of things you can do to look good.

Eating a good diet with plenty of protein, fresh vegetables and fruit is really important.

Go easy on the cakes, biscuits, fizzy drinks and junk food.

KS/XXY people sometimes develop a bone condition called osteoporosis when they are older. You are less likely to because you have been diagnosed when you are still young.

Eat lots of dairy products – milk, cheese, yogurt to build up your stores of calcium.

Vitamin D tablets and plenty of sunshine on your body will help, too.

Keeping active is really important too.

If you don’t enjoy team games much (rules can sometimes be really confusing), try something you can do for you – walking, climbing, swimming, biking, running.

Some KS/XXY adults are triathletes, marathon runners, cyclists, skiers and wild water swimmers!
