We do hope you will be able to join us at Huddersfield University

This is going to be such an exciting Conference – partly because it has been such a long time since most of our members have been able to meet. However, it is also exciting because we have such a variety of speakers.

We are delighted to have Dr. Tet Yap, who is lead urologist at  the KS Clinic at Guy’s Hospital in London. He and some of his team will be telling us about very important research which the clinic are engaged in – with the help of many of our members – and about a brand new initiative which the KSA are helping to fund!

Although Dr Yap’s team will be presenting virtually, we are delighted that he will be joining us in person and will be running workshops on Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday we have something completely new – actress and comedian, Susan Earl, will be holding a fun workshop to help build confidence and overcome anxiety. I met Susan at the last Activity Weekend and she is a lovely lady with a wicked sense of humour!

Many of you know that KS/XXY folk can find life difficult because their memories are poor, they find it difficult to organise themselves and often they seem to be slower at picking up new information. All of this is down to executive function disorder and we will have Jenny Retzler, an expert on EF explaining more about it – and how to improve outcomes. This is an  aspect of KS/XXY which we haven’t really looked at before and is, I think, one of the biggest problems our guys face.
