Gynaecomastia is the development of female-like breasts in the male. It can occur as an isolated element during puberty, as part of a genetic condition like Klinefelter’s syndrome due to an abnormal balance of testosterone and oestrogen hormones or may develop as secondary to hormonal treatment in Prostate and Testicular Cancer.
