Some travelled by train, others drove, parking in the (free) car park before meeting at the restaurant which was pleasant and cheap! Some had never been before and were a bit apprehensive but they were soon put at their ease and began to relax.
After lunch we wandered around the historic city of Winchester with some enjoying an ice cream while we chatted in pairs/little groups about everything and nothing.
Then to a large grass park where we played frisbee for about an hour. This was great fun even though I never played before – it is surprisingly easy to learn! You can do as much (or as little) running around as you like.
We then sat in a pub garden and enjoyed the sunny evening.
It was a lovely day, in great company. Why don’t you join us next time?
